Programme Day Counter

Three of the four stages between a brief and finished goods are ours, and they are committed in writing. The fourth is yours: how fast samples come back approved, and how early the packaging decision lands. Set those two and the tool counts the whole programme.

For the related manufacturing scope and project requirements, see NEXO cosmetic manufacturing.

Committed Stages We Hold

Our fixed turnaround metrics.

Stage Committed Counted from
First sample preparation Within 3 working days Receipt of your product brief
International sample delivery 5–7 working days Sample dispatch, by destination
Commercial production 10–15 working days Formula approval and packaging confirmation

Why Packaging Usually Decides the Date

Sampling and packaging procurement run alongside each other, so the longer of the two sets the start of production. Confirming components late is the single most common reason a launch date moves, and no amount of production speed recovers it.

  • Sample rounds each carry preparation, courier time and your own review
  • Packaging lead time runs in parallel, not after
  • Production only starts once formula approval and packaging confirmation are both in
  • Sample approval is required before every production run, without exception

Stage figures are the commitments in the specification table on our homepage. Working days are converted to calendar days at five working days per week, which is the tool’s own assumption, and the whole programme runs to around 60 days from first brief.
